"If I take Wings"

I attended a weekend craft retreat this past weekend and designed and created this card using Maymay's "Beacon" stamp set. https://www.maymaymadeit.com/products/beacon-stamp-set
I used designer paper I had in my stash and and cut the "waves" using an older punch by Creative Memories. I then embossed the blue wave with the Darice embossing folder "Polka Dot" and sponged the edges with CTMH "Indian Corn Blue" Popped the sailboat and also the white "wave" up with dimensionals. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped with Black Onyz Versafine. I have found so many uses for this stamp set..as you can see from this other card I created below:

I had a very good "mojo" spell and came up with a few more cards that I think turned out pretty good. The first one is CTMH "Rain or Shine" which I have had fun playing around with. I ran the cardstock through my Cuttlebug and fussy cut the rainbow out Also used my spellbinders dies for the sentiment and the little extra border behind it...popped everything on pop dots and there you have it. I think the twine adds just enough "extra". 

I must admit that this second one I used some DSP that I had in my stash.. but everything else is CTMH. This set called "Kiss It Better" is just what I needed for those Get Well Cards that I never had a good stamp set before.  The hearts and bandaids are sooo cute! I popped those tiny hearts on dimensional tape and also the saying.

Just noticed the Legos in the background of this picture! I'm keeping them in because it just goes to show this is "Grandma's" house... lol

I have been busy with my crafting..I go in spurts I guess.. The first card is one I created with sponging and coloring and used my CTMH set "Look to the Light"  for the sentiment

This card I experimented using  the sponging technique and then embossed the tree; I love how this turned out..and it was fun to make!

Love my Maymay stamp set "Just to say Thanks". This set is so versatile for any Thank You cards you want to make. The banner is from Maymay's set "Happy" and the sentiment and border is from her set "Just to say Thanks," You can order Maymay's stamps  at www.maymadeit.com  also used my Hot Off The Press set "Flower Frenzy", The flowers were stamped with my versafine ink on my CTMH cardstock and I fussy cut them out and popped using dimensional adhesive.

Fall Banner

Here is something I created the other night when insomnia got the best of me. I was awake from 1:00 am on..and created this in three hours.  Hope you like! I used all CTMH papers and stamps along with the CTMH Art Philosphy Cartridge.  That cartridge is invaluable.!  I also used the Don Juan cartridge for the letters. I started by covering chipboard with the designer paper and went from there! The glossy leaves have been glossy accented.

Well; I am laid up with surgery on my left arm; and am trying to "create" my blog..doesnt help that I do not know the first thing about this! I consider myself a fairly intelligent person in regards to computers; but I must say;;; this one has me stumped.  Been looking through all sorts of blogs on SCS and have no idea how those ladies get their blogs to be so pretty!! Bear with me and hopefully can figure this all out..Maybe DD will stop by and help me ...
